Helmets

It is not a legal requirement in the UK to wear a helmet when cycling. However, should you choose to wear one, we have some great models from trusted brands. They come in all sizes, colours and patterns for children as well as adults.

We have a wide range of great children’s helmets. We have researched the market extensively in order to offer you products of the highest quality from the most reputable brands currently available. These include Abus, Bern, Bell, Melon, KiddiMoto and Lazer. And they look awesome!

Our range consists of helmets of many different colours, patterns and sizes that will delight any little riders from 18 months upwards. It isn’t recommended for very young babies to wear helmets as their neck muscles are already quite busy developing in order to support the head.

If you decide to wear a helmet, make sure it is the right size, it feels snug and comfortable. A good test for that is when you have it on with the straps loose, gesture no with your head and the helmet should not feel loose.  The side straps should meet just under your earlobes and ensure they are not twisted. When buckled up, the strap on the chin should allow you to yawn but not looser than two fingers underneath.
