We encourage you to test ride, it is fun and the best way for you to find the right bike. We have a quiet traffic free test area for you to enjoy with the whole family.
There are number of solutions available, most can be found in shop/ acc. If you already own a car baby seat we can custom fit it to most of our bikes. Best is to bring it with you when test riding.
It depends on the terrain, on the average traffic conditions and your personal preferences. We will advise you on the differences, and after testing, you will be better able to tell what is right for you.

Businesses represent a large proportion of our rental service users. For businesses wishing to trial cargo bikes in their day to day operation all bikes can be supplied without seating and branded (for additional cost). Staff training and bike delivery to your door can also be easily arranged. Past hire examples include parcel / food / flower deliveries, photo shoots / filming, marketing campaigns, product sampling, info point, magazine / leaflet distribution and many, many more.
Absolutely, in fact some of the biggest names in the food industry use bikes for food deliveries (and on street product sampling). We can provide bikes with different cargo capacity to best suit your usual packiging/ order size, insulated or secured in lockable box. Our range includes bikes with cargo volume over 400 litres and electrically assisted bikes.
Generally we can, please check the overall dimensions and loaded weight to make sure it fits the desired model. As with most custom jobs, getting in touch with us is a good start.
We provide full / partial box branding as well as umbrella and/or hood printing. Please bare in mind the additional cost of branding.

We aim to do all small repairs (punctures, adjustments) while you wait and most other services within 24 hours. In busy periods this may stretch to few days. Ordering parts within UK usually takes 1-3 days. Orders from other countries will take longer, we suggest to order in advance and schedule service for when the part is due to arrive.

Our prices should give you an idea what costs to expect, however each job does require individual approach and the time it takes vary. We will always provide you with a quote prior to the service to make sure it also suits your budget.

Fabric stain remover and a cloth works best for us. Washing machine will do the job but will also compromise the waterproofness. Outdoor clothing sprays can be used to fix this problem.
Arches can be bent back to their original shape many times before breaking.
There are 3 valve types found on bicycles Presta, Schrader (car) and Woods. Woods and Presta are common, Woods valves are frequently used in Netherlands and Denmark. Most pumps are adjustable and will work with all 3 types. We recommend to use larger pumps for bigger volume tyres. We stock a suitable range of pumps which can be found in shop / accessories / other
Yes. It is important to have your bike serviced 4-10 weeks after your purchase, to ensure that it has bedded in well.

The safest option of course is to have your bike indoors behind locked doors. For many this is not possible or simply not practical. Our recommendation is to use a Motorcycle type chain or D-lock, insurance, lockable bike shelter and/or full fabric cover. All have their pros and cons, though a high quality lock is essential.

We advise you to book your bike no later than a week in advance to avoid disappointment. Please use this form to ease the process.
The payment needs to be made by credit or debit card, we will keep the card details as a security deposit. And you will also need a valid photo ID (drivers licence, passport, ID).
We have a fleet of identical Christiania tricycles that can accommodate up to 4 children. These are also suitable for commercial as individual bikes or the whole fleet (5). In addition we have a Bakfiets long and short that can carry max 2 children each. We also have a Bicicapace, a sound bike and a Market Stall.

Yes we do. Delivery of bikes has to be arranged with the store prior to your purchase if this is important for you.
“You get what you pay for.” We constantly research the market and test ride new bikes. Our aim is to supply the best cargo bikes out there. If we find one for £800 with requirements that match our standards, will sell it believe us! Read our attempt to explain why.
No problem just give us a call and we’ll do what we can to deliver your dream cargo bike. There are no strict rules in place, the focus is on your requirements and your new bike!
If there is any issue after delivery, don’t hesitate to call the shop or email us immediately, explaining what the matter is. Send us photographs if it helps describe the issue. We will do our utmost best to help and put right any issues which may occur. Please note that any warranty issues that require our assessment have to be brought to our workshop.
We will try to arrange a time and date which is most suitable to you, so it’s important to discuss this fully beforehand.
The courier will have your contact number and may contact you prior to delivery. Please ensure someone is available to sign the delivery off. Please ensure your payment is made on time as only fully paid bikes will be released from the shop for delivery.
We advise you to take into consideration the time of the day (light or dark) and the weather conditions. Bike lights can also be purchased at the shop.
I you are nervous about your first journey we will happily spend as much time as you need to be safe.
The whole process shouldn’t take longer than 15/20 minutes. We’ll talk you through everything and answer any questions you may have.
We will contact you to arrange a pick-up date. You can decide whether the bike is delivered to you (at an extra cost), or whether you will pick it up yourself. We encourage you to pick the bike up in store as this gives us the opportunity to deal with any changes or unlikely issues that may occur right away.
A minimum of £250.00 deposit is taken when you order a cargo bike, but you are welcome to pay more than that should you wish you. The outstanding amount must be paid before delivery/collection of the bike.
You can pay in person at the shop by card or cash. Alternatively we can take payment over the phone or by electronic transfer. Contact us for our banking details.
