Bakfiets Long, Shimano Steps, blue

I’m selling my beautiful Bakfiets electric assist cargo bike, as I no longer need it. It’s in excellent condition having been ridden almost exclusively for the short local school runs. The total distance it’s been ridden for is under 450km.
I’ve had it since late 2020. The battery is in excellent condition, and it only has some minor cosmetic imperfections, which you can see from the last 3 pictures (a little bit of paint chipped where the chain rested, and a patterned clouding on the plastic viewer of the gear changing mechanism on the handle bar).
It rides like a dream, and is very easy go up hill with, even with a child and dog in tow.
It comes with a padded bench that fits two children, seatbelts, a clip with a little chain to tether a dog and a rain cover for the cargo only (although it has automatic buttons in place for attaching the rain cover for the passengers too, which would need to be bought separately).
It’s also equipped with a super comfortable Brooks saddle, which has been locked to the bike with a bike chain to discourage opportunistic thieves 🙂
The back wheel was replaced with a sturdy anti puncture wheel, while the front is still the original and will probably need replacing at some point in the near future as it’s a bit on the smooth side.
Because this Bakfiets is the long model it can be fitted with an extra bench on the other side if needed, carrying up to four children.
I originally purchased this from London Green Cycles and it cost over £4000.
I would like around £2600 for it.
